Although there was always work going on it was not until the threat of extinction became imminent that the Society once again became vibrant and the next book of registration was published in 1981. Since then this rare, beautiful and versatile breed have continued to gain momentum, and although still not totally out of danger for the very same reasons as earlier, a Herd Book has been produced every year. |
